Very BAD idea, don't do it. I'm nearly 100% certain inhalers are no longer sold OTC. See you doctor & be tested for asthma. Don't attempt to treat a condition you don't even have, or don't know if you have. Being "out of breath" could have many causes other than asthma. Best to have your doc check you out & he/she will diagnose you & decide whether or not an asthma inhaler will be helpful. I'm assuming you are not a doctor -- so... "don't try to be one, go and see one." (Just made up that li'l rhyme, haha.)
You really don't need an inhaler if you don't have asthma. It just might be because you don't run a lot and you are kinda not in shape (don't get mad, I'm not either!) It could also be the kind of asthma you get when playing sports. If you really are out of breath, go somewhere and get a breathing test, but your mom probably wont want to waste money if you are not sure.
Asthma inhalers contain a medicine that reduces inflammation of the bronchial tubes, they don't help with being short of breath, which is due to a lack of conditioning. Asthma inhalers require a prescription and no doctor will prescribe medicine that you don't need.

No. You don't need an inhaler. Everyone runs out of breath by one point, but your not really losing your breath completely like people that have asthma. The inhaler won't even help you. Because it unblocks a tube thing... and your just losing your breath so that's fine.
