Yes, the pin does not release the charge. The pin holds a long metal piece (I forget what it's called). When the pin is pulled, usually you would hold the metal piece between your hand and the grenade. When you throw it, the metal piece flies off (it's on a spring) setting off the 6 second delay charge. However, if you hold onto the grenade and don't let the metal piece come off, you can re-insert the pin. Even when you do this, however, sometimes the grenade malfunctions and goes off any way, so really, only pull the pun unless you want to throw the grenade.
