It isn't the make-up on your face or the tattoo on your chest that you need to worry about. It's what is in your heart Are you filled with pride or are you humble? Are you charitable and forgiving? Do you gossip and spread ugly rumors? Do you judge others? The two main commands are.....love God and love other people. When you love them, a little mascara doesn't hurt!
Look, what is so holy about asking strangers, most of whom are teens, whether or not you should wear makeup? It's just silly. Wear makeup girl, if that's what you want. Has nothing to do with anything important.
Its just a lie from the enemy trying to already tell you you are not good enough to be a Christian, you are not good enough to be loved by God, Jesus will never accept you... The enemy will constantly try to drag you away from your walk with the Lord. Please let me pray for you: Dear Heavenly Father, I bring to you this born again child of Yours. Lord, the enemy is already lying to her, nipping at her. Lord I pray that You bind Satan from his lies right now! Thank you. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.
don't matter how religious you are, you really shouldn't let the church or religion affect most of your life making decisions. If you want to do something but the church speaks against it, you need to say well you no what I'm not going to let anything or anyone tell me how I'm going to do things. If I want to wear make-up, I'm going to wear some makeup. don't let religion control your life. I am not religious. I believe in God, but I really don't have a main religion. I would be closer to Catholic. take this advice I f you want. if you don't oh well.
You're overt thinking things. There isn't anything wrong with makeup. It helps make your face look good instead of when you crawl out of bed. As long as its not being used to attract people, you're fine.
Just try not to look PHONY. Just make yourself look better than you do! Sometimes we are the ONLY Bible people see! ( we dont want them to think Christians are phony just by the way we may look) right?
There is nothing wrong with wearing jewelry, makeup, or braided hair as long as it is done in a modest manner. A woman should not be so focused on her outward appearance that she neglects her inner spiritual life. The Bible focuses on the heart. If a woman is spending too much time and money on her appearance, the problem is that the woman's priorities are wrong. Expensive jewelry and clothing are the results of the problem, not the problem itself. Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/women-makeup.html#ixzz2SLbrdI4e
