What do I do?

I'm 15. My mom's side of the family (grandma, grandpa, step-grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins) are coming up in 3 weeks for my sister's graduation. My mom's side of the family hates me. And no, I'm not just some teenager who thinks my family doesn't love me. I know my parents and sisters love me, but my mom's side of the family (mainly my grandma and aunt) literally hate me. They are extremely religious, and I'm an atheist. They hate me just because I don't agree with them. How do I deal with this when they come here? I know how to stand up for myself and everything, but it's different when it's family. So what do I do?

It may help to understand that for a person who is religious likely feels very sad when someone near to them does not hold the same ideals. They may be feeling angry, worried that the loved one is going to ruin their life if they too don't believe. Best thing may be to just keep your personal feelings about religion to your self and never criticize them for their beliefs just be respectful. That show a mature person. Just smile and try to gain a better understanding.
