Is it normal to have PMS symptoms two weeks before my period, while on birth control pills?

I would think the hormones in the pill would override the hormones in my body enough that my body wouldn't know when I'm supposed to be PMS-ing. Especially since I shouldn't be ovulating or anything along with it...

The hormones in the pill do not override those in your body. They combine. Every one is different and everyone has different symptoms. You can still have PMS while on the pill. If ti is a problem for you, see your doctor about changing your prescription.

But am I supposed to ovulate? I thought the pill was supposed to "deceive" the body so I don't ovulate and therefore no eggs to be fertilized
