Horses are mentioned throughout the Bible. The first reference is Genesis 47:17 and that last, as Carlos Bernal has pointed out, is in Revelation.

Of course donkeys also got a lot of coverage and you might be surprised to learn that the longest slide in history is recorded in the New Testament. when a man went all the way from Jerusalem to Jericho on his ass.

JOB 39......
19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.
21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.
23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.
24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

There are so many. The only one I remember at the moment is Deuteronomy, do not increase in horses, and do not bring the nation back to egypt in order to get more horses.

Do you know in what context the passage speaks of a horse?

Here a are just a few examples:

Proverbs 21:31 - "The horse is something prepared for the day of battle, but salvation belongs to Jehovah."

Psalms 32: 9 - "Do not make yourselves like a horse or mule without understanding, whose spiritedness is to be curbed even by bridle or halter before [they] will come near to you. "

Revelations 19:11 - "And I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness."

Job 39:19-22 - "Can you give to the horse mightiness? Can you clothe its neck with a rustling mane? Can you cause it to leap like a locust? The dignity of its snorting is frightful. It paws in the low plain and exults in power; it goes forth to meet armor. It laughs at dread, and is not terrified; nor does it turn back on account of a sword."
