For the first few years after being diagnosed with T2, I couldn't even eat one entire piece of fruit without my blood sugar going far far too high. This continued until I lost over 75 pounds. Now I can eat a bit of fruit here and there, although I still have to be careful. As they say, you must let your meter be your guide.
If you observed an increase in blood glucose levels, then that is normal given what you had just taken. Fruit juice contains natural sugar, which will cause your blood sugar or glucose levels to rise after drinking it.
yes you probably should have left it at 105 and just ate some breakfast but 218 is not that bad you'll be ok and it probably is right . My sugar was 441 last night and my legs and arms were tingly Im kind of worried about that.
