Who was Poe married to and why was this marriage considered a social “faux pas”?

Edgar Allan Poe was married to Virginia Eliza Clemm in 1836. The marriage was considered a social "faux pas" because the two of them were first cousins. In addition, at the time of their marriage, Virginia Clemm was 13 and Poe was 27 years of age. Their relationship was more like that between brother and sister than like husband and wife.

Virgina Clemm plus she died thats what made him write those stories all the women folk in his life died

virginia clem and because she was 13 and he almost 30 and plus they were cousins.
