Can you negotiate the price for televisions?

Report as

You can try. Especially a display item. Won't hurt.

You might want to ask that to whoever is selling them.

Report as
But, you still.

But, you can still. lol xD

Yeah you can but for example if someone wanted to negotiate with me it go like "hmm ill give you 300$" and ill be like "NO 750$ is the price and its staying that way not a penny less!!" so in the end you get no where so you should just pay the price they are asking... :D

Oh & I wanted to add. Perhaps why most people can't get others to lower the prices. Is simply b/c they can't negotiate, correctly.
Report as
also very true....
Report as
That is too low. You'd have to keep close to the price. plus you do get those people that just don't budge.
Report as
Yep i would be one of those people who won't budge im very greedy when i comes to money for some reason so i dont negotiate with no one.... the price stays as it is...
Report as
Ha ha, I can understand that. ^~^

You can negotiate the price of ANYTHING you want. Just remember, if it is an item that most people will pay full price for, then you probably wont get anywhere with your dickering.

Maybe at a pawn shop.... but i dont think you can at like best buy or something like that....

You can even at Best Buy. Most of Best Buys customers will pay the asking price though, so Best Buy wont haggle... Cant hurt for him to try though.

Depends on where your getting it. If you buy it from Craig's list or a yard sale or something like that then yes, but not at a dealer like The Big Screen Store or Best Buy

Shoo around - especially on-line. Amazon is hard to beat. Move fast before they start charging sales tax for on-line purchases.

It depends where you are buying the television. At a garage sale or swap meet, yes you can negotiate the price. At a department store or a big box store, you are not likely to get anywhere negotiating unless you find that the product is damaged. A scratch or something can get you a little discount.

You can try negotiating the price of anything. The problem is that the salesperson might not have that ability or freedom. Did you ever notice how they all have to "go ask a manager" for anything other than a straight sale.
