What is HR1406 (Working Families Flexibility Act) and why do Republicans think it is a good idea for working Americans and their families?
From what I've read - it basically will allow companies to not pay their workers for any overtime worked - in exchange for comp days and also allow them to deny you vacation time. How is this beneficial to working Americans?
And the reason I ask about Republicans specifically, is when this was voted through the house it went almost completely down party lines GOP voting for and Dem voting against. So why would the GOP be for something that essentially hurts Americans in terms of being able to make a decent living?
