Can you turn devil's food cake mix into chocolate cake?
I know the question sounds weird, I didn't know how to put it. My birthday is coming up and have always loved plain old chocolate cake. Problem is, I am on a gluten free diet. Betty Crocker came out with gf cake mixes but the only chocolate type is devil's food, which I have never been a fan of. It there anyway I can mellow out the dense dark chocolate taste of devil's food to make it taste more like regular chocolate cake? It would make my life a lot easier to just use the mix.
