Can you get HIV from a soap bottle in your house touching a possible open cut on your hand?
Okay so I was washing my hands when I suddenly slipped my finger on the soap bottle at my house and my hand that has a cut on it touched the soap bottle. Even though the soap bottle is in my house, I'm scared that the soap bottle had HIV on it.The soap bottle had a whole lot of dirt on it and green stuff but I don't think there was any blood on it. We've had this soap bottle for about a month because we keep reusing it. As for the cut on my hand I got it yesterday and it looked like it stopped bleeding, but I'm not entirely sure. It's not that long of a cut, but it's still red and you can see where the cut is. So I'm asking this: Can you get HIV from a partial cut (that looked like it stopped bleeding) from your own soap bottle in your house that has been there for a month now? Please please answer I will choose the best answer as soon as possible! I don't think that any of my family members has HIV, but you can't really tell.
