How do I unlink two iPhones?

All of my family's iPhones are on the same Apple ID, and thats's fine. we don't use the apple ID for texting. However, a while ago I accidentally linked my Mom's phone with my phone, so now, under iMessage settings, she can choose to receive texts from MY number. Obviously, this is not ok with me. How do I make it so that this is not an option anymore?

well first do you have a separate apple account. Because if you do you can simply go on the computer sync your i pod to a different system then you need to sync your moms i phone as well. But you could hack it as well. If that does not work then your screwed bro.

It has nothing to do with the Apple ID. Other people in my family are hooked up to the same account and they cannot read others messages

All you have to do is get to her phone settings go to the message option and turn off imessage or just unlink ur phones by creating your own account
