How do I get rid of leg fat?
I feel as if I'm too big for my average size.

Well if you feel the need to loose some leg fat, then the best thing is to watch your diet and do plenty of exercise.(squats, jogging/running, swimming).
Biking, running, swimming etc. you're legs may not look smaller though if your muscles get bigger.
losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise.
Try some good old mountain climbers.
