A microfiber cloth is the best material to use for cleaning an iPad, because this will not leave any fuzz. The Pristine travel clean cloth that is available in most audio and video accessories' shops works perfectly.
a microfiber cloth, if you have one that came for it or a lense cloth or you might have to order a new one from apple. I've heard you can use old tshirts too. This will work if it's just greasy or a little dusty. If it's actually stained or really dirty you can wet a corner of the cloth or tshirt and squeeze it out REALLY WELL and try that, but only if it's not working dry. Be very careful if you choose the second option.

Turn your Ipad off. Grab a clean wash cloth type material, warm with water, squeeze leaving NO water, and wipe clean. Any windex type cleaner will dull hard body finish, and cause a fast deteriorate rate of your crt (screen).
