If you listen to any genre, then some of the best songs are the contemporary gospel and the gospel hip hop. You could also listen to Mr. criminal-side to side, Marilyn Manson-Tainted Love, Breaking Benjamin- so cold, With Ur Love - Cher Lloyd and glad you came - the wanted.
EDIT: Never mind; I got it: My favorite bands (in no specific order): Yes, The Police, Bruce Springsteen, Jethro Tull, The Beatles, Genesis (mostly after And Then There Were Three), Ray Charles, Creedence Clearwater Revival [CCR], Billy Joel, and Collective Soul.

Cake is a pretty good band, as well as Reel Big Fish (I recommend RBF's newest album overall.) I also enjoy Weezer, Wolfmother, the older Fall Out Boy and some of the Gorillaz songs. I Wanna Be Sedated by the Ramones is really good too.
Where should we start... DotEXE, Pegboard Nerds, Stephen Walking, ParagonX9, Skifonix... the list of Electro/Dubstep/House continues...
Special names would be "Disconnected" "Rocktronic" "Pressure Cooker" "Clocks (By Hot Date & Insan3lik3)" "Gunpoint" "Emergency" "Light Pollution" "LOZ - Dragon Roost" "Chaos Fantasy" "Run Away From Me" "Stephen Walking - Still Walking" So on so forth... Go listen to a channel on YouTube called "Monstercat"
Judging by your anti-beiber exclsmations(which I support, btw) I would suggest: Fortunate son-ccr Sympathy for the devil-rolling stones Stairway to heaven- led zeppelin I can't get no satisfaction-rolling stones

sounds like you are a smart person. i listen mainly to rock music and sometimes country. for a rock song i would recomend something from acdc or fall out boy or of more punkish emoish rock then look at my chemical romance and green day.
