Can I use a cool mist humidifier in the winter while the heat is on in my apartment, or will they cancel each other out?

I have a small studio apartment and it gets very cold without the heat on. But if I turn the heat on, my apartment will dry out quickly. The humidifier is helping me breathe/sleep better, but I'm freezing in the morning at the same time. Suggestions?

You can use the vaporizer. Being cold in the morning is not due to the cool mist, but rather because you are getting out from under your warm blankets. You could try putting your vaporizer on a timer to shut off a couple hours after you fall asleep, & see if you can still sleep, & if you're still as cold in the morning.

Thanks for your reply. But do you think the humidifier will still work as effectively if I turned the heat on at the same time? If the humidifier still creates ample humidity with the heat turned on, I'd have no problem with doing that to stay warm that way.

Yes, it will. I've done it many times.
