What should i do?

it's like my parents expect me to be perfect. every time i miss a homework grade or only get half credit on something from school, they take away my electronic devices for 2 days! I recently only got half credit on this study guide i was supposed to do and i lost a certain lesson in the study guide, so my teacher gave me half credit on it. my parents do this all the time, and it's annoying! i dont miss many homework grades, but sometimes i completely forget because (A) i was studying...most likely for finals (B) i had lots of other homework. i get all As and Bs in school, so it's not like i am failing. UGH. what do i do? any explanations? much appreciated.

Luckily I myself, do NOT have parents like this. I would talk to them.. It's really all you can do. Tell them how you do your best in school and it isn't fair that you do this. Remember, your parents love you and just want the best for you! :)

They don't want you to be mediocre, hopefully when you have kids you'll be the same way. Think of it this way, they want what's best for you so they try to aim you as high as possible, the higher they aim you, the higher you'll land. You get B's because you're shooting for A's. If you shoot for B's you'll get C's. Just because you're not failing doesn't mean you shouldn't keep on trying to do better, they want you to excel and some day you'll thank 'em for it. Imagine if your parents were mediocre at their jobs, wouldn't you want them to excel?

I remember a time we didn't have electronic devices, you'd have torn your hair out haha, just teasing.
Grounding bites but it's only because they love you and want you to do better. If they didn't think you could they wouldn't push. You'll be fine and pass it on to your kids as well. It's called parenting. Best wishes.
