Can dogs eat oatmeal?

My dog is pregnant and the vet said that when her temperature drops below 99 degrees to feed her fiber. Well today her temp. dropped below 99 degrees and i didn't have anything with a lot of fiber except for cinnamon swirl quaker oatmeal. Would that be safe for her to eat?

Yes, dogs can comfortably eat oatmeal. A good dog diet has to include about 50%. Grain sources such as oatmeal, millet, corn as well as barley can safely be fed on dogs which in turn, will improve on their wealth.

Cinnamon swirl may make her sick, get plain quaker oats and warm them up in a bowl of milk, she should like that, may make her poop alot though due to fiber.

Oh yeh!!!! They love it. We used to give our bird dogs warm oatmeal in the winter and put a few raw eggs in with it too. Never had a problem.
