How do tell if a guy is into me

Report as

It can be pretty difficult to tell if a guy likes you or not. Some show it, while others don't. One way to tell is to examine his body language. If he looks at you a lot, may even give you the "eyebrow flash." Leaning in while talking is also another sign. Check out how he's sitting. If you see rather manly gestures, like sitting with open legs or placing his hands on his hips, he's trying to impress you. Always watch for eye contact as well.. If he's shy, he may look away if you catch him looking at you. His pupils may dilate when he sees you (this is hard to pick up on). Be aware of touching. Guys who are interested in a girl generally will playfully punch you, and tease you. Maybe even throw things at you! Signs of nervous laughter, sweaty palms, deep breaths, fidgeting, or possibly even looking away quickly when you notice he is watching you, can all be signs of an attraction towards you also. Watch his friends as well.. If his friends know he likes you, they'll most likely tease him when you're around.. Not always, but sometimes! :) I speak all from personal experience! Hope I helped!! :)

You might want to think about phrasing that differently ...

However, if a guy likes you he'll probably look for reasons to be around you, to talk to you, to just 'accidentally' turn up when you're not expecting him. And he might get a bit tongue tied because it will be important to him to make a good impression and that could make him nervous.

Being into someone is the same as saying Man I dig you!

I was going to make a snarky joke about how it was worded though. I won't now. LOL!

Yeah, I knew that but looked like an opportunity...

It sure does ;0)

Do you have some of the same slang we use in Oz?
Report as
Yep, we've learned a lot of slang from TV so you can bet that most US slang is widely used in Oz.
Report as
Oh you have mentioned before you watch the same programs.
We have a lot of Aussie actors in our shows, but you would never know it they do "American" so well. Do they sound odd to you if you know what they really sound like?
Report as
Not a bit. I was very impressed by the mix of actors in LOTR who managed tohide t heir accents so convincingly -- people like Viggo Mortensen, for instance -- and then, in the interviews, listening to them speaking with their normal accents underlined their professionalism.
Report as
That is how I feel as well. I was really shocked that Anthony LaPaglia was an Aussie. I have never heard him speak except with an American accent.

When he was on Frasier as Daphne's brother, is that how he really sounds?
Report as
(...he is one of my celebrity crushes......)
Report as
Haven't seen Frasier. I know him from an FBI show whose name I forget, and as Barry the Blade in "The Client". He was superb as Barry who was one of the dumbest bad guys on the screen.
Report as
The FBI show is Without A Trace. We watch reruns all the time.
I loved him in So I Married an Axe Murderer.
