I gained 4 pounds in three weeks! I'm freaking out and I can't figure out how it happened so quickly!

I'm thirteen and I'm 114.4 pounds now, but I was only 110 point something three weeks ago! I haven't grown at all in height, and I can tell I've gained a little weight. I still have a healthy BMI and all, but I really want to figure out why I'm gaining weight so quickly so that it doesn't turn into an issue. I'm not that unhealthy, although I must admit I haven't exercised much in the past few weeks. (I'm going running tomorrow, chill.) That's because I have no sports going on right now, which I usually do. I do 100 sit ups a night for this thing we're doing for PE in school, though. Um, I guess my eating habits are pretty healthy. Now that I think about it, I probably consume too many frapaccinos (forgive my spelling) at Starbucks, and I have put Nutella on toast in the morning a few more times then I need to. But is that all it takes to gain four pounds in three weeks? PLEASE help, I really don't want to gain any more weight like this!

Four pounds in three weeks isnt that big of a deal... and will come off quickly too. Why dont you try NOT getting on a scale. You dont need to know how much you weigh anyway unless you see a Dr or get a physical.
Instead, Worry more about what you look like. Worry more about how you feel. If you work out, you will build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat does. So no point working out if you dont want to be heavier... muscle will make you heavier but will make you look and feel better.
Oh.. and frappiccinos are nothing but milkshakes. Milkshakes, last I checked, are still fattening.
If you dont want to gain weight.. definitely lay off the frappiccinos and the nutella and most importantly... do not work out.

No problem... just dont worry about the scale though. It is best to only use one scale all the time anyway... as they are not all calibrated properly. Instead, go on how you feel about yourself. You know if you want to lose a pound or two...(or four). You also know when you look pretty darn good regardless of what the scale might say. Good luck.

Honestly gaining four pounds in three weeks isn't that big of a deal. If you're really that worried about it try to cut down on the starbucks (It's expensive and bad for you) and get a little more cardio and you should be fine. But really at your age I wouldn't worry about it.

Nutella is fattening, and is that whole wheat toast? lol And coffee is fattening, plus the cream and sugar.

You can't just walk around saying I don't need to work out , every body has to work out at some point , but you can still enjoy junk food by organizing when to eat this and that , don't allow your self to eat sweets befor lunch , also dont eat more than three sweets a day , hopefully this will work . GOOD LUCK .
