is really or a rip off /beat , then you got to get more money for more dope or get sick . Then the sickness comes , every addict gets sick .Its like a bad flu for 3to5 days. After a week you will start to feel better but, she needs to get that MONKEY OFF HERE BACK. You go to alanon , she might needs a rehab then 90 meetings in 90 days . Good Luck & my prayers are with you ...my daughter is out there too. Many nights I cry but there nothing you can't does but be there when she is ready to get clean .
You need to take her to a rehab center where she will get help. A heroin addict need a lot of help to get clean and you cannot do it on your own. Tell her all the risks of taking heroin at her age and stand by her as she goes through recovery.
You could learn yourself about the dangers and effects of heroine and then give her a nice talk about stopping and when giving her a talk though dont drag it on for to long or she may just become angry and listen even less so just be caring and help her

Put her in a rehab center . I had someone in my family who's name I will not say out of respect to his identity . He stole from me and got involved with some pretty bad people putting my life in danger and causing a lot of stress and problems . As well as trying to fight me on a daily basis . I suggest a rehab center because when someone is good at finding drugs or trouble they will find it no matter where you send them . Good luck and be strong I wish you the best .
Sad to Say, but Your Grand-Daughter is in Serious Trouble . . . Drugs, Alcohol, Casual Sex and Gambling are all a one-way street leading only inexorably to misery, poverty, mental illness and premature Death. . . . Serious-Need of a Higher Power.
Sheldon as well as others here have got the answers. The very first step is the addicted person admitting there is a problem so help can be successful and the problem stopped. You can get help from support groups to learn and deal with this. It is called "tough love"...but you love this person and it is worth the effort. Believe me
Don't give up on her. Pray for her. Pray for yourself to have patience because you are going to need it. My cousin ran out on her whole family, she had everything in the world going for her and she got started on Hydrocodone then when she couldn't get that anymore she moved to harder things until she met Heroin. She shot up and took a bunch of Xanax before checking into the womens shelter and they found her dead the next morning. Even though we tried so many times to help her, we never gave up on her but she would continue running. After she passed we found out she had another baby that DSS had and now that little Angel lives with my Aunt who is raising her. As a Narcotics Detective her death made me strive to get as many Heroin dealers off the street. Most dealers are users themselves and they sell to support their own habit. There is a lot more Heroin becoming mixed with different cutting agents that are poison and the Overdose deaths are at an all time high. Try to get her into a rehab or honestly in JAIL to dry out. Kevin is right, if the monkey is on her back, it is up to a higher power. I will pray for you and her.
