How is it possible for a urine test to come back negative when the patient is taking 4-5 oxycodone a day? patient is also diabetic.

patient is diabetic is on oxycodone 4-5 a day urine test came back negative for use of medication

It's quite possible that they were not looking for that. Or they knew about it ahead of time and didn't bother to test for it. Or they're just saying that they're taking it and aren't. Urine tests are usually used to check for certain things, they don't show everything unless it's requested.

If someone is taking that medication, and the test looked for opiates, (which is what that medication is) the person could not pass that test unless another person's urine was used ( but I can't tell you on here how that's done.)

Maybe they are lying to you about taking the Oxycodone... possible..
