Not to discourage you in anyway, shape, or form; but those problems are all common problems in the US too.

maybe but sure it is not look like third world countries, at least every night you can sleep and no one bother like motorcycles or cars. In US there is no Intolerance like here, here Christians hate Muslims and also Sunni Muslim hate Shiite Muslim, and Maroni Christians hate Catholic and Erthodquis and vise versa.at least you can work or the gov will help you finding work.if you don't have money you son can study for free at US schools, if you are sick and you can go to the doctor or hospital here if you don't have money you can't do anything. here many and many peoples dead at the reception of the hospital because they don't have money to enter...can you imagine.....

Youssefobeid, I hate to burst your bubble, but your image of the US is not an accurate one. There is plenty of hatred to go around here. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "bother like motorcycles or cars", are you talking about noise? There is constant noise in large cities. Sirens, cars, motorcycles, music, people talking and yelling. College is not free, it costs a great deal of money unless the student can get a scholarship. College loans must be repaid and you have to pay interest. Being ill doesn't get you free medical care, many people have no insurance and no medical care. The government might help you find work by providing you with information about people or companies that are hiring, but you have to get them yourselves. A long time ago, immigrants thought the streets were lined with gold--they weren't then and they aren't now. It might be helpful for you to stay where you are an concentrate on making your own country a better place to live.
Report as
koichan maybe you are right but even though there is a big difference..and also it is not necessary to go to us i can go Canada for example..and regarding making our country a better place to live you need aware people and this is what we miss..
Report as
I understand, I visited Nigeria for several weeks and they don't have the opportunities to access the media like we do. But if you don't try to help, who will? You are aware and sound like an intelligent person, your country really needs people like you to stay and help it get ahead instead of leaving. I know, easier said than done...it's just a thought on my part.

No different than the good ol' U.S. of A.. Some people are well off and others, such as I, just barely getting by. Sounds as if you could get a decent paying job here in the U.S. but as said, a lot of red tape to move up in here. Also would be taking a chance, might not get what you are looking for. As for myself, I love my country even though I am financially poor.

You are right, there many third world problems occurring especially in the Middle East. Australia is a good place to move because education in public and government schools are free. It's quite in expensive to live here as well. Then again i'm not too experienced on a topic such as this because I've never lives in a third world country. I hope God can guide you on the right path.

In Countries where it is possible to start your own business enterprising people create ways to supply a need to their countrymen or their neighbors. There are always needs and good salesmen even know how to invent needs. This is how creative people get ahead.

I can tell you that most, if not all, of those problems are common to every country on earth. You think we dont have the same issues here in the US you are sadly mistaken. Our political issues may be different than yours but we still have plenty. As a university student you wont find your economic situation much changed either. For some strange reason people think everyone in the US is rich and thats FAR from the truth. Your only rich if youre family is rich or if you get a good enough job and manage money right. The rest of us struggle. Im guessing the same is true of Canada and Australia.
Im not saying you shouldnt immigrate. A change is always good and you may find more freedom here to make your own life than where you are. Im just saying dont immigrate with stars in your eyes expecting to
be well of with a nice house and car and whatever the second you get here. If you dont have money to start with youre gonna have to work hard to get it. Having a better life is achievable but it will likely mean living poor for a few more years.
Have you considered a student visa and going to University in the country you choose? That should take less than four years and give you a chance to get a feel for the country and once in country you could start the process for citizenship.

thanks for your help...student visa need money first year tuition and about 15000 Dollar for living...i know not all american or Canadian are rich and money isn't every thing when i say i need future it doesn't mean only money the difference between Lebanon and US or Canada is in US if you work hard you may get better life but trust me here no ... never mind i like this sentence "Having a better life is achievable but it will likely mean living poor for a few more years. " and i will add: living poor for a few more years is better living poor for all the remaining years...
so helpful man...really thanks

ar least in this country/ we have laws about : you wont starve/ there is always a place to lay your head if you want- we do not pursecute you for your belief....a lot of plusses here!
You know Paul in the Bible was that way. He states : he has learnded to be content under all circumstances!
Hungry or full! In prison or in a palace!
Poor or rich. If you have Jesus in your heart and Life! That is the key!
Nothing that we have here on earth can go with us into eternity!
Therefore Keep your eyes on things above/ not on things of this earth!
Store up your treasures for heaven( tend to the less fortunate in any way you can) and God will bless you( if you belong to Him!) you will see your life
on earth turn around!--- for His GLORY!

from all the answers, i think you know that all countries have the same problems, when i read the description you gave of your country, i almost believed you were from Pakistan.. suggestion brother, start from small jobs, anything,, i'm talking about kind of jobs mistrygirl said.. blue collar jobs,, i know, joblessness sucks.. my brother after completing his BS in electrical engg was jobless for over a year, and that period was a mess.. from what i learned through comments, you don't have the kind of money to get you abroad for further education so that seems like a dead end to me. so look around there must be something for.. my brother would go from house to house and tutor kids, he worked as a teacher in an elementary school.. my point is any job thatcan give you rizq-e-halal, just grab it no matter how hard it seems, meanwhile strive to achieve experience in your field, i mean cmptr science.. i hope someday you find your dream job

gosh i know its hard bro, but hold on.. i will pray for you that you never need a doctor in your life, may Allah keep you healthy and protect you from all things bad. may Allah solve all your problems

'm from the US, and I know most people above wrote that we have the same problems as well, but in a way, that's not true. I've been to other countries and it only reminds me how grateful I should be that I live in this country (USA).
People here have more opportunities and compared to life in other countries, it's much easier here (financially and in other ways).
We (Americans) should be more grateful. We take most things for granted here.

Got bad news for you no matter where you go, it's the same problem world wide and getting worse. "All the rest of the world around us is under Satan's power and control." ( 1 John 5:29)
Living Bible. What the Bible says about Satan the Devil makes sense. The evil that mankind experiences is far out of proportion to the malice of the humans involved. The Bible's explanation of Satan's origin and his activities makes clear why, despite the desire of the majority to live in peace, mankind has been plagued with hatred, violence, and war for thousands of years and why this has reached such a level that it now threatens to destroy all mankind. That scripture is not my thinking, it's from God's word. This answer is special for the person that asked the question. He can make the decision as to what to believe, and which direction to go.

I guess you're in the Middle East and understand totally what you're saying. One of my friends, a Lebanese Catholic who actually represented Lebanon four times at various Chess Olympiads, emigrated to Australia for the same reason you suggested.

In spite of what so many other people have answered, we DO NOT have the same problems you've got there, though it isn't a bed of roses.

I can't tell you how to fast-track an application for immigration. You'll need to go to the Embassy of the country you choose and take your turn. Many people want to come to Australia, and the queues waiting to enter the US would be longer. With your degree in Computer Science you would certainly be approved for residence.

A word of warning. DO NOT attempt to enter illegally. Every week, boats loaded with illegal immigrants are being intercepted off-shore and the would-be immigrants are detained in off-shore facilities and never make it to the Australian mainland. And they're the lucky ones. We don't know how many boats have been lost at sea and all their passengers with them.

Good luck.
