I think the answers so far have been a bit ignorant, no offence. It depends on who you're talking about, the Indians or the European/Americans. For the Indians, it certainly would have been better. They were raped, slaughtered, lied to, condemned, and ridiculed. They lost a huge portion of their land and were forced onto reservations, where they lived the longest time without human rights, and where they lived in constant poverty, due to unequal opportunities. They invited strange people whom they never met onto THEIR land with open arms, traded with them, taught them how to farm, and gave them supplies such as fur. In turn, we came and did all the horrible acts, forcing our religion, hatred, and culture down their throats. You may view bows and arrows as primitive, but I ask you which group is more primitive; The group that can easily agree on brotherly love and universal themes, despite a lack of technology, or the group that gained all the technology but lost themselves in the process, only knowing war and selfishness?
no it will not, there will be only indian people without any advance civilazation, they will only had tent, spear, horse, calf, bow/arrows, up till now. while the european had buildings, gun, ship, canon and etc.
Yes think about tribal raiders everywhere you wouldn't have to worry about Obama taking your hard earned deer or Congress saying you can't a bow with more than ten arrows not even immigrants coming over to take our jobs lower the amount of currency beads we earn working as servants for our chiefs and there would be no Antonio coming into your hut and banging your female slave(s)......Man those were the days.
No. We were created as a free nation to bring freedom to the world. Your liberal teacher wants you to say yes. Do your own research! Let's say the world's number one consumer of goods were to cease to exist. Think global depression, on steroids, PCP and bath salts. Let's say the world's number one benefactor/bread basket nation were to cease to exist. Think global pandemic/famine on a scale too horrendous to contemplate! Let's say the world's number one technological powerhouse were to cease to exist. Think Dark Ages to the fiftieth power. Let's say the world's number one defender of freedom and human/civil rights were to cease to exist. Think global tyranny of the like which would make Hitler blush. Be careful what you wish for, citizens of the world. You just might get it--especially with a socialist at the helm.
If the europeans didn't immigrate here, The US wouldn't exist so it couldn't be better As for the romantic notions about Indians, the concept of "owned" land didnt exist. They were nomadic, it took a LOT more land to support them, everyone who was not of their tribe was an enemy so there was pretty much constant warfare.
