What to do when being a new kid at a new school?

I'll be a junior in high school next year. I decided to switch schools and I have two questions is high school all drama and what do about being the new kid?

High school can be drama if you let drama people constantly create consume your mind. The best way to avoid it is by backing away if you don't know what you're doing and not let your emotions get the best of you. But everyone at some point experiences drama and you just have to find a way to lower those chances of that happening and not let it go too far than it should. You can have a drama free life in high school if you choose to let things go. And being a new kid is like a new beginning. Don't be afraid to say hi to people and even ask to sit with someone or a group of people at lunch or class. But take good observations of the students there. Like find people who seem nice and interact with them to see if they're the kind of people you would like to be around with. Join clubs and/or programs and get to know them. And do not be in a rush to make friends right away. It can take time and that's okay because it will lead for you to make long lasting friendships. Having people on your side will take you far in high school. Also, do not change for anyone, be yourself and the right people will come along.

Really, I don't think that SOME high schools are all drama, but there is a part that is mainly built on drama. As for being the new kid, go out and meet some new people! Also, its your final years (which are really fun) so make your best of memories now!
