Dogs and other animals hear sounds that we can't hear. Are there animals who see sights that we can't see?

Report as

Yes. Some animals can see more of the spectrum than humans can, just like some can hear higher and lower pitches in sound than humans do.

They are a bird of pray, they can see movement of small animals that we cant see unless we are close to them

Owls can see in very dim light. They are birds of "prey," not "pray."

Owls can see in very dim conditions, they have very efficient eyes so they can hunt at night.

Nope, i mean birds of pray can see their pray on the ground when they are very high up, and cats have a second layer of cells in their eyes that helps reflect light (thats where the cats can see in dark comes from, any extra light is captured, but in complete darkness they are just as blind. But dogs see in black and white. Your hearing and sight are not connected like that though, just because one can do better than humans doesnt mean the other can

Dogs are bi-chromatic, meaning they can see certain colors like green and blue, but not a spectrum as wide as ours . For some reason elementary school teachers keep repeating this old "black and white" myth to each new generation. It's not true.

Many insects can see ultraviolet light. In fact, many flowers have UV patterns on them we can't see that direct insects to the middle where the nectar and pollen is. Some animals can see infrared light as well.
