I have chicken legs but I want to wear shorts can yall help me with providing some calf and leg workouts?

You have chicken legs?? Do you have any other chicken parts..?!?
Walk or run daily, that'll build up ALL of your leg muscles.
One good exercise for calves that I know of is:
Find a large book (War & Peace IS useful!), or something solid/sturdy that's at least 2 or 3" thick & place it on the floor about 2 feet away from a wall. Put your hands flat against the wall (for balance), step on the book with ONLY your toes. You want your heel to go down past the edge of the book.
Stand up on your tiptoes, then let your heels go down past the edge of the book toward the floor. Straighten up again so you're back on your tiptoes, then dip your heels back down, rise up on your toes & repeat, repeat, as many times as you can. You should feel your calves working. Be sure to do this exercise standing on ONE foot at a time so your entire body weight/resistance is on one leg at a time.
My "instructions" aren't the greatest, having a hard time describing this... (??)... If you need more info, leave a comment & I'll TRY to explain it better... :)

don't run cause that'll make it worse..im told that if you do lateral raises with wights thatll work..

yea ride a bike, walk up a steep hill, leg weights, or jog dont run.
