Gatorade is not healthy but it does have electrolights are suppose to bring you more energy when you need it and some have potassium and other ingredients that could be benifical to intake so it is only use full to drink while doing physical activity or the ions in the drink will just be contained in your body and will just leave through the natural cycle
It's full of sugar, way more than you actually need to "replenish" as they advertise. However, it is good if you've gotten dehydrated, such as sickness or intense heat and labor (more than just normal exercise.)
The original formula is very healthy, IF you are a performance athlete and need to replenish what you have lost. today's Gatorade is loaded with sugar to make it taste better and appeal to the masses. but still same thing applies unless you are a performance athlete nothing is better for you then just plain water.
It could be if you're a hardcore professional athlete. I think it's great for when you have food poisoning to keep you hydrated and because it has some sugar in it. Most people who work out will be fine drinking water.
