Is it true I can go on an airplane by myself when I'm 17?
Yes of course you may fly alone at the age of 17...But you need to check with the airlines about their rules and documents required to avoid last minute hassles or difficulties at airportAirline rules may vary but as per generally accepted guidelines children above 4 years may fly alone but have to pay full adult fares. Kids falling under the age group of 5-8 can take a direct flights to a single destination only..no connecting flights...Kids of 8-11 years of age may take connecting flights if they pay for airline escorts who'll help them in changing the flightsThose under 17 years of age flying alone on an international flight must have a signed note from a parent or responsible adult giving permission, destination and length of stay.
yes i flew by myself and I'm 13
I dont know but all i do know is me and my sister flew from Dallas to Virgina by ourselves and she was 16 and i was 5
It all depends on the airline, but I'm pretty sure you're 100% old enough to fly alone.
I believe after the age 14 you can fly without an escort. Under that you pay extra to have a flight attendant escort you. The first time I ever flew I was 16 and flew by myself.
I dont think there is a age limet...when i was 11 i was going to florida to viset my sis and my mom and dad were going to higher somone from that airline to get on the plane with me and show me were to go...
