I'm a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. What eyeshadow colors should I buy? Im blonde, fair skin, have green eyes, & my dress is turquoise

I would really appreciate it if someone could guide me to an eyeshadow color palette and/or if someone has a brand of eyeshadow in mind. I would also like to know if I should wear false eyelashes or not. I want to look good but not try to outshine the bride and take any attention away from her because I really like her and want it to be all about my brother and my new sister. It's a church wedding at the beginning of June, so I want my makeup to match the place and occasion. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

You should put on a little bit of bronzer since you have fair skin, plus it'll look really nice in pictures. And for eye shadow, you should maybe do a light smokey eye because you don't want to have colors on your eyes just because it might take away attention from your dress. Plus a smokey eye looks good w/ everything. Don't make it too harsh, then it'll look like you're going out, not to a wedding. Well hope this helped?!

ps; try the naked2 pallet by urban decay. you can get it at Sephora it's a little pricey though (50$)

I'd keep your makeup simple and natural looking. I'm getting married next month and that's my plan. I think a light pink eye shadow, black eyeliner/mascara and pink lipstick/lipgloss and some blush if your usually pale. Everyone will be focused on the bride, so don't worry but don't put any heavy colors or have a heavy hand when applying. also some coverup might help for pictures so your face isn't shiny unless theydo pics outside

I'd go with a dark purple liner to bring out the green in your eyes and contrast with the turquoise dress. You can also use a lighter lavender or silver as a base colour. Are you wearing silver or gold jewellery? Depending on the turquoise, a gold or bronze colour would be beautiful and complimentary to green eyes as well.

Thanks. It's a long one shouldered dress and the shoulder has a little silver detailing. Most of the bridesmaids don't have their ears pierced (don't know why) so I'll wear some sort of studs. The rings I wear (wedding rings & a ring from my husband that I don't take off) are all silver so I don't think I'll be wearing any gold. Your tips were helpful. Thank you. There are a lot of good tips from everyone on here.

1. Tried and True: brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)
2. Funky Favorites: gold, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)

You'll find that warm colors like deep purples, plums, mauves, lilacs, golds, bronzes, deep greens, coppers, browns, medium pinks, peaches, and apricots are all excellent choices for green eyes.

You should avoid cool colors like blues, silvers, whites and pastels since they can give you a washed-out look

A silver based smokey eye ( i use Diors silver smokey eye palette) will look amazing with your green eyes and your dress! If you don't like silver go for a nude natural look using Urban Decays Naked palette or Too Faced Naked Eye or Natural Eye. Goto sephora and pick witch suits you best.
