( 171 ) O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
( 172 ) Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.
I'm not Christian so I don't believe he was God's son from the start. I think this might be one of the contradictions in Christianity that make u doubt ur religion? Ask people with a lot of knowledge in Christianiy, like priests. Or do reserch in the Bible or other books.
Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Joseph and Mary were betrothed but virgin. This to fulfill the prophecy "a virgin shall bear a son". When Jesus was baptized, as he came up out of the water the Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove. And a voice from heaven said this is my beloved son. In whom I am we'll pleased. God said it, I believe it!
This is one of the numerous "Abracadabras" of Christianity. This claim shall not stand any trial, and rather has upon its face every mark of fraud and imposition.
At first Jesus was a man -- son of Mary and Joseph. Matthew and Luke even laid out, as utterly contradictory as they are, two detailed genealogies to prove that Jesus was the son of Joseph the Carpenter, through the blood of David the King.
Then, out of the blue, it was claimed that Jesus was the son of god. And, the evidence to substantiate this extraordinary claim is given upon a dream by Joseph about an angel with this breaking news. It occurred in a dream when poor Joseph was asleep. What is the testimony of one who was asleep worth? We should be vague indeed to put faith in a 2000 years old dream of Carpenter Joseph, while we pay no value even to our own dreams!
Celsus tells us that "the dark-eyed Mary fell in love with the Roman warrior Pandira, and the subsequent fruit of this 'love' was Jesus".
The Infallible Pope Boniface VIII said that..."Trinity is false, the child-birth of a Virgin is impossible, and ridiculous...the Virgin was a she-ass, and her son the issue of a she-ass".

According to biblical accounts, Mary was a young women who experienced the visitation of an heavenly angel. This angel announced Mary would conceive a holy child and it was written that she did became pregnant, without having slept with a man.
Joseph married her, even though he knew she was pregnant. He married her because he believed the angel had appeared to her and she was carrying a divine child. In those days, Mary would have been stoned to death for having a child out of wedlock. It was very good thing Joseph married her, because he saved the lives of both the mother and the child.
There was so much more, as to why Jesus was called the son of god. It had to do with his divine conception, his foretold birth and his miraculous life and teachings. You can read more about it on-line, in bible study courses. God bless! : D
Joseph was the earthly father of Jesus. A stepfather to Him. There's 3 parts to God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit together make God, and Jesus always was with God and came in human form.
Jesus was born in a miracle because God made Mary pregnant though the Immaculate Conception Joseph was spoken to by God that this was to be. And of coarse Joseph agreed to listen to God. Joseph you can say was the father in human sense but God made Mary pregnant and scripture was forfiled
God created the egg in Marys uterus without sexual intercourse. Mary carried him and gave birth to him. Joseph was the human man God chose to be Jesus earthly father, to raise him and instruct him as an earthly father would. Sort of like Jesus adopted father. Tho it is possible that when God created Jesus egg in Mary he included Josephs DNA as well. For all intents and purposes in the eyes of the world he was Josephs eldest son.

Jesus was Mary's son. Most scholar strongly doubt if he was Joseph's son though. Some have suggested he was the biological son of Panthera, the Roman Legionnaire, but of course that is highly speculative. We have to accept we do not know who was Jesus' biological father. As for God, God cannot and does not have children. It's sacrilege to suggest that God procreates. It was common to bribe such nonsense in Greek or Roman mythology. While Zeus apparently was in the habit of sleeping with and impregnating women, God - who has no physical shape or form - doesn't.
Joseph was Jesus's EARTHLY father! The Angel came to Joseph and told him to take Mary as his wife, that the child within her qas of the Holy Spirit! Read the books of Matthew and Like! ( you must be new to the faith)
NiallandthePotatoes3, Really There's No 'Abracadabra' Concerning The DNA /Fatherhood of The Savior Of The World, Jesus Christ. All Who Believe/Receive Him, also Have Earthly Daddy + Heavenly Father. Earthly Father Was Joseph. ><> Scripture Quote ><> and went to his hometown. He taught in their synagogue, and the people were so amazed that they asked, ------------------ ><>----------------- 'Where does he get all this wisdom and the power to work these miracles? Isn't he the son of the carpenter? Isn't Mary his mother, ------------------><>----------------- and aren't James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas his brothers? Don't his sisters still live here in our town? -------------------><>--------------- How can he do all this? (Matthew 13:54-56 CEVDCUS06)
Jesus is not God's Son in the sense of a human father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. God did not mate with Mary and, together with her, produce a son. Jesus is God's Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus is God's Son in that He was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 declares, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'" there is just one GOD and surely Jesus is not God's son.God is unique. Jesus was Mary's son and his birth was a miracle because Mary was virgin.Jesus was only a good messenger and a good human.Joseph was not Mary's husband .
