Your body has to metabolize it (burn it up as fuel) and regulate blood sugar by producing insulin. People with diabetes, for instance, can't produce the proper amount of insulin naturally so they need to take injections.
Burning off calories from sugar can be done by exercise ... which make you sweat .. but, sugar is not directly expelled through sweat glands. It is burned up as fuel through exertion.
Your body burns it. All food you consume is turned to sugar by the body. the body uses the sugar, burns it or stores it as fat. In order to burn off more sugar than you normally burn, you have to do physical exercise. this is why it is important for people with diabetes to exercise daily, it helps them to regulate the amount of sugar that is in their blood at any given time.
