Wear what they buy.... when you move out on your own, you can buy whatever you want and wear it wherever you want. No biggy.

If your parents aren't letting you dress the way you want and letting you express yourself they are failing as parents and there's not really anything you can do because they are your parents sorry :/

You and your parents need to come to an agreement maybe you can wear some gothic style and still have your parents approvement.

The clothes that you want to wear, do your parents consider them risqu? Do THEY think that they are too sexy, or too low cut etc?? If answer is no, and depending on your age, if you buy them, you should be able to wear If they are paying for them, you will be wearing what they by you. (You might want to invest in some black clothing dye! Lol). Good luck

I'm gonna guess you're probably 14. Unless you are paying for your own clothes, I'm afraid you're stuck. Work hard this summer and earn some ducats for clothes for school. You'll be proud of yourself and it will show your parents that you are turning into a responsible adult.
I'm just guessing....I bet when you were little bitty your mom dressed you in pretty (her opinion of pretty) little girl clothes. And pink DOES look good on you. (or something like that). If so, (or close to so). You have a close to impossible goal--reprogramming your mom to like what you like. Good luck goth girl!

Surprisingly I'm not 14, my mother did dress me as such, mostly but it's a difficult situation, she doesn't want me to be Goth Girl simply because...she was at some point. Moot point I guess, thanks for your help, and sorry bout the flag idk how to undo that.
