Why would two potatoes make a LED light brighter than two lemons

You know why this works right?? It doesn't have to do with acid or any thing like that, the potatoes work better because it acts as a buffer for the electric current. Potatoes are more dense than a lemon so of corse the potato is going to hold a better charge

Well . . . I do see your point just a little bit...
It will be just a tiny bit nice when the family begins to realize their baby has turned into a fine and intelligent man right under their very eyes there...

Awww, what a nice thing to say Virginia!
I always thought the experiment worked due to salt content?

Perhaps this article will help :) However it says that lemons will work as well as potatoes.
