read Ellen Hopkins books! theyre so good!! crank, burned, glass, identical, tilt is really good too. for mystery and crime Janet evonvich's Stephanie plum series is really good. its about a bounty hunter from new jersey.
I'm into the paranormal/romance books.. so here's my favorite! Tigers Curse (series) House Of Night (series) Evermore (series) Wings + Spells Hugh Hush Wake For mystery/crime I recommend Kissed by an Angel
the Wool series is really good the first one is very short and leaves you wanting to know what's really going on. I think there are 5 or 6 of them out now. or try the sword of truth novels the first 6 are good then they don't make as much sense.
Maximum Ride, Witch and Wizard, and Daniel X series by James Patterson. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer. Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead.
Any book by Sarah Dessen The Clique series by Lisi Harrison Gossip Girl series by Cicily von ziegesar South Beach, Hollywood Hills and French Kiss by Amy Friedman Seventeenth Summer by Maureen Daly The Luckiest Girl by Beverly Cleary
I have learned of many books, and although I have not read all of them, I have heard good things about them. Some may make you cry. I may not have many suggestions, but I definitely would suggest Room if you want a kind of disturbing story with some suspense and bit of mystery. Suggestions: Where the Red Fern Grows (Don't read this or the next one of you don't want to cry) The Fault in Our Stars (again, you may cry) Room (Read this one and loved it!)
If you want an inspiring and memorable story, read The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind by William Kamkwamba. Such an inspiring read.
