A good one Mona...do you have any idea what happened to crow? Been MIA for awhile.
Report as
It must be something serious, he said he'd get back to me when he knows what's going on.
Report as
I hope he's ok and that he comes back soon. It's not the same around here without him.
Report as
There are a few people I wish I knew personally. He's one, you're another.
I suspect he may be annoyed with the way the new guidelines are being applied. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being watched more closely than others.
Remember: Just because you're paranoid that doesn't mean everyone isn't out to get you.
Report as
thanks Jeff....I too would like to meet you and a few people from here. Crow's too tough to be sidelined by this place, but I do know that he has some big concerns and responsibilities in his life, I'm sure he'll be back when things settle down.
I might just send him an email. ;)
Report as
If it's appropriate please let me know what's up.
Report as
Ok, I have the scoop....he has been enjoying some time off and doing the ``home state`` tourist thing.

Oh yes, we do!

What kind of world do we live in when people think people don't watch musicals ANYMORE?! Ugh, stab in my heart right there, it cut deep. So that you know one more thing today new musicals are still being put together to this day but they are not as popular as they would have been a few decades ago.
Report as
some musicals and plays are good while others aren't just like with movies, tv shows etc

I saw this one play by oscar wilde, called an ideal husband... it was pretty funny if I remember correctly. if you're looking for something more modern though, then definitely don't see this, cause its from 1895 and funny in a witty way, not like slapstick comedy or black humor

Based on what I glimmer from your previous questions, you would probably find humor in the Rocky Horror Picture show, and like the Nightmare Before Christmas. Have you watched either one?

Paint Your Wagon. Who can resist Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin singing a duet. I would say I liked Cat Ballou but Hanoi Jane kind of ruins it. Nat King Cole was great though. As was Lee Marvin.

Lets not forget one of the best movie songs ever:

Ynp; I clicked the link but it said video not found. What song were you referring to?
Report as
It was "They Call the Wind Maria" pronounced Mu-ry-uh.
Report as
I remember that.
When I was a kid the closest my grandfather ever got to swearing was when he said "DIRTY OLD MARIAH!" After I got older I found out he knew a few other words.
Report as
Thanks for clarifying Sin :0)

Good addition to the list!!! (Jane ruined a lot of things.)
Report as
She certainly did.

still nothing from Crow....he's down in Kansas so I hope he's safe
Report as
Yeah, me too. I hope the Jayhawkers didn't get him.
Report as
the what?
Report as
During the Civil War era there were guerrilla fighters and just plain raiders and murderous thugs known derisively as Jayhawkers after a fictional bird in Ireland called a jayhawk that supposedly was loud like a jay and predatory like a hawk. Before Kansas became a state there were skirmishes between pro slavery and anti slavery groups. The Jayhawkers were anti-slavery but were particularly nasty and unprincipled. It's now just a term for anyone from Kansas and the name of the University of Kansas sports teams.
Report as
In Kansas there was a "mini" civil war about whether it was to be admitted as a free state or a slave state. Kansas was called "Bleeding Kansas".
Report as
Seriously though. I do hope Crow is ok. He has disappeared before and then shown back up hasn't he?
I know I get a little tired of stuff on this site or just get busy and stay off of it for awhile.
Report as
He did answer a couple of questions 4 days ago.
Report as
Glad you noticed that, he still hasn't replied to my email....so I might just have to call him.
Report as
Yeah it's kind of funny how you can get sort of attached to someone you only know on here but I am wondering about him. It sounds like you know him on a more personal level. Keep me posted if you can.
Report as
not really...we were chatting on here and he seemed very down one night so he gave me his number and we had a good talk, only called him once since then.
Report as
He seems like a good guy. It was an answer from him that got me more interested in this site. He was one of the first people I followed. Then I checked his connections and started following you and Mr.JohnWayne who had a different username at that time.
