You can't have a chicken without an egg. You can however, have an egg without a chicken. It's called, two breeds of birds (or whatever the species may be) mating, laying a fertilized egg, and voila a chicken. So the egg came first.
An egg must be kept warm and safe. It must also be fertilized to develop. There for I believe there must have been a father to fertilize the egg and a mother to keep it warm and safe. But the real question is who created and designed the first two Chickens? I believe the mother Chicken's instinct to protect and keep her eggs warm and safe is a type of love, and the instinct to nurture must have come from Love. There fore I believe this type of love came from God our Father the Creator. Because I know his Love and He is the source of all Love. God our Father is Love. I realize this may have been a silly funny question but I decided to give it my best answer.
