Christianity has churches to bring people in for worship, community projects, meetings and help programs for members and others in the community. The members pay tithes. the tithes go to pay for the rent of the church building, the electricity, the bibles and songbooks and sometimes, the pastor's salary.
A business must support itself by selling a product or service. The money generated from selling the product or service then pays for the rent, electricity, employees salary and more products or improved services.
In a round about way, businesses support churches and churches support businesses. They are very closely tied together by the people who work at the businesses and also go to the churches. Their relationship is very important for this reason.
I am skeptical of some businesses that use that in their advertising. Treating others as you would like to be treated, being honest, providing good value to customers is all fundamental to a thriving business whether they be Christian or not. If they practice Christian values, that is what is important.
Pet peeve: People who use church as a networking opportunity to sell product to others. Totally wrong!
