Sadness or depression..? If you're just feeling kinda sad today, call a friend. Talk a while, and laugh together -- that tends to cheer me up. Give a friend a call, that's what friends are for. If you're feeling reeeaaally down, feeling that way all the time, & you've been feeling that way for more than a few weeks to a month, especially with no particular reason to feel that way... You ought to look into getting professional help. You may have clinical depression, and may need medication, or therapy, or a combination of both in order to "cure sadness." There is no cure for depression, but there are treatment methods that can help a lot. "Stuff" will get better.... in time... Be well:)
Watch or listen to anything to make you happy. Take up an interesting hobby to get your mind off things, like gardening or get in touch with nature...feed the birds. Get a telescope and be in awe of the beautiful night sky..that ALWAYS cheers me up. Best yet...ICE CREAM!! :D
Look at the happy side of things. Don't let the sadness get you, don't let it bring you down. I'm a mommy with three kids and I still call my mom when I'm not feeling too good. She always talks sense into me. You try it too. Mom, dad, whoever you look up to.
I have yet to find a cure for that! It's very tiring to look happy all the time. I just keep my sadness to my self and not let it affect others such as my girl friend or my kids. I would rather not express how I feel like I have failed in life. I just keep doing my best that's all I can do. I just feel like I have died somehow and lost that part of me that knows what living happy is like. Guess I just don't want to open myself up to be disappointed again. I would rather be dead inside and smile on the out side.
If you are feeling sorry for the life you live go volunteer & make a difference to someone else's life & I guarantee you it will improve yours tenfold. Believe me I have been volunteering for the last 16 years at least 2 days a week. It will help you acheive good in your heart & good in your life. Focus on that & try to say away from sad thoughts & emotions. Another great option is get a dog. Their love to you will consume you & make you look at life differently.
When your inner energy is disrupted it can lead to all sorts of mental and emotional, and even physical issues..... your energy being blocked or cut off in areas of your body is usually the root of most health problems. Instead of using medicine seek out a natural healer or someone who works with energy. They usually travel by word of mouth.
If you suffer with depression , you will need medication . No one should be sad every moment.
When I am feeling sad , I sleep , eat , talk to friends or go shopping :D lol and then I remember . I need to pray. Whenever I pray and open up to God and ask for Him to take the sadness away , it works.
It all depends on what you're sad about. You have to think of something that would make you happy. Have a goal. Do little steps to reach that goal. Watch comedy. Something that distracts you from that thought. Keep yourself busy. Pray, ask God to help you. Look at your likes and dislikes about yourself . Trying being a better person, change your character and do something that makes you feel proud. :)
