Which game came out first mario or legend of zelda

Mario came out earlier than The Legend of Zelda. Its original release was in 1981, in the series "Donkey Kong."The latter's release on the other hand was in February 1986, 5 years after Mario's.

No Zelda did because it came on the Nintendo 64 which came out before the Game boy.
