How much is degenerative disc disease worth in workman's compensation in settlement terms

Im disabled from ddd and need to know what workman's comp will pay

hawaiianika is speaking of "disability" not "workman's comp". Degenerative disc disease is usually an inherited weakness. If you were disabled because of this and not able to work you would need to file either short or long-term disability. Workman's comp is if some unsafe work condition caused you injury.

No, I was talking about worker's comp and not disability. In Hawaii worker's comp compensated by husband for injuring his back and gave him an 18 percent disability. If by chamc his back worsens over the years, he can go back and worker's comp will increase his disability and compensate him accordingly. The State of Hawaii may be different than other states but that's how it works there.

I would have to go with what my husband got. He herniated a disk at work and had 2 back surgeries and was eventually able to return to work. The state paid him $18,000 plus his weekly benefits when he was off work. Every state is different and it also depends on how bad you back is.
