Hi I just made a paste out of vinegar and baking soda...and let me tell you my headlight was really bad, I couldn't even tell at night that I had a light on that side. A couple of years ago I bought a product from an auto store...cost was 27 dollars...granite not that much, but I prefer cheaper....I made this paste and took a few minutes wiping maybe 3 minutes tops....wham, better than the store product...my headlight sparkling like new....I don't usually comment on sites, but I literally just came inside from fixing my headlight and had to share!!! Good luck!
You will clean cloudy headlights by rubbing it off with a readily available abrasive like sandpaper or a nail buffer. You could also rub off the film with salt solution or submerge the headlight in a bucket filled with white vinegar then wipe it away.
