What is a good gift for a nurse or doctor that helped you out above and beyond?

Around $25-50? Or homemade? (Will Doctors or Nurses eat homemade goods? Would it be weird to bring in cookies or something like that?)

Great question, I am in this field,
Homemade goods are fine if they know you pretty well, I have a few patients that bring gift cards for local
Coffee places or major department stores which are terrific, and just so you know, we always appreciate the
Gesture :)

No, it wouldn't be weird to bring cookies to your doctor or nurse. It is a kind of appreciation as well for the good work they are doing and it will motivate them as well.

My moms a nurse and they love it when patients bring in those sandwich or wrap platters from delicatessens! Should be within your budget too!

I work in a physician's office and we enjoy baked goods! Edible Arrangements are a favorite at the office, as well! We have even had a couple bring us bottles of wine. Keep in mind that anything you do will be greatly appreciated, even of it's something as simple as a letter or card. :)

We love food! Some won't eat the homemade food so it's better to buy it from somewhere. Donuts and coffee isn't much.
