Should I force myself to drink coffee?

all my friends drink it and always ask how I can't like coffee. my family traits don't end well with coffee. it triggers random and possibly bad panic attacks. should I risk it and do it to make people stop teasing me?

No why would you do that? You are talking about basically making yourself sick to please others? I don't drink coffee often and only if it is very light and very sweet and pref has chocolate in it because I simply do not like the taste.. but YOU have a different situation, just tell them you are allergic to it and it causes you to get sick, they don't need to know what it does that is none of their business. Lots of people are allergic to or have bad reactions to foods the rest of us love.. I have several friends who are allergic to chocolate for instance.

No, i dont think you should. i mean i dont like coffee unles it's like a mocha. but if you really dont like it then there's no reson to change for them. if they dont accept you then they're not your true friends. Honestly though coffe is good after 20 it really helps you health but only after you stop growing so it can go either way. it just depends on how much you hate it ;)

You should not start drinking coffee the the reason of being teased. Of course not. What a stup!d reason to tease someone, although I suspect they tease you in a kidding, good-humoured kind of way.
I really don't think coffee causes panic attacks, although it could add to one's nervousness, no doubt.
I don't drink coffee, either. I wish I did, for the health benefits, though I would have to have sugar, and that isn't a good thing. If only coffee tasted like it smells. Mmmmm. :P

Lie to them and say that you are somehow allergic to it. I know it is not good to lie, or you can just walk away and hang out with better friends than them.

If you don't drink coffee you're not allowed to join the US military, serious stuff. Okay, that's BS, but times at it sure felt that way. I loved the early morning smell, hated the taste & it went through me so fast that a toilet was never needed. It used to piss me off, here you are in the snow & sleet making soldier snow angels & the 1st shirt would show up with a few mermites filled with coffee to warm you up & caffeine to perk you up, day after day after day. How about some damn tea, oh well a cross to bear

No you shouldn't!! However, if you want to fit in (which you shouldn't care), this is what I used to do, a little coffee, a lot of sugar & cream!

I'm sorry, but your "friends" need to get a grip. (Feel free to tell them so) You don't like coffee and you don't want to drink it...nuff said. Don't you dare start doing this to appease others...what do you think will happen next if you do? (Don't worry, I'll tell you) once you do one thing that you don't want to do just to make someone else happy or whatever, you'll end up doing something else, and so on until you forget what you actually like and dislike. You eat and drink what YOU want. Tell your friends to step off and try a little respect for you.

Of course its your choice, but coffee (black) is very good for you, and it helps manage blood sugar too which keeps your energy stable and helps ward off diabetes. A lot more research is backing this up today.

I have never tried coffee in my life and when we go out for a "coffee" we go out to get together and catch up.Not to look at what each one is drinking or eating so we can do the same regardless of whether we like it or not.I cannot believe that any sensible person would tease someone for their taste in a simple beverage. That's ridiculous and u shouldn't put your health at risk for ANYONE.

Definitely not. And if you are seeing negative symptoms from coffee consumption in your relatives, it is likely you would have the same associations, as reaction to caffeine and caffeine intake is genetically linked! http://www.gbhealthwatch.com/Trait-Caffeine-Consumption.php

No, why would you do that. If you like coffee go ahead but, if you don't then don't force yourself. Coffee is addicting and can cause severe health problems so NO do not force your self.
