I believe so. Read the poem Rainbow Bridge, it got me through tough days when my best friend of 14 years passed away, he's definitely in a better place. He was way more than a dog. Sorry for your loss.
Well, I've had about a dozen animals of all kinds die, plus family members and what I believe is that no one knows what happens after death and it is all guesses, often to make the grieving feel better. The important thing is that you enjoyed animal when it was alive, and you loved it. After we lose our friends, we keep them alive in memories.
They don't have souls, but heaven is supposed to be beautiful, peaceful with everything we loved and needed. I've had several dogs that were a big part of my life, I would like to thing they would be there when my time comes!
No. They don't have souls. But when you go to heaven, God said that it would be wonderful and there would be nothing to make you unhappy, so when you get there your dog will be with you if that's what makes you happy. :) sorry about your dog. :( I've had many animals die and it's very tragic. :(

Sorry about your loss! :( I lost my doggy a few weeks ago... :/ But back to the subject,I believe that dogs do go to heaven. (: ...their is a poem called the Rainbow Bridge that you should check out sometime..it's a really sweet poem. (=
I had read in the Psalms somewhere a verse that made me think our favorite animals were in heaven. I have also read of a lady who was 'revived' from death and her little dog had been there with her. It's not like our loving Father to give us something we care about so much here a not have it in heaven for us.
