Have indoor palm tree gave as ctr pcs party, has thick truck long thin leaves, green color outside for summer did grow dont know how to care

trunk is thicker at bottom, its now about 1 ft tall lots of long thin leaves

One advice I can give you on how to take care of your palm tree indoors is to make sure it gets the right amount of humidity. Your tree likes humidity and one way to get the most out of humidity is by putting a tray that's filled with pebbles under your tree. As long as you keep this tray halfway full with water, the evaporation process will give your palm the humidity it needs. Place it in a low light area dependent on the type of palm tree and not near a heating unit or air conditioning vent since it may dry out. Fertilize twice or thrice a year but not during winter.
