How to deal with a problem tenant

Two months since I rented a apartment to a lady on section 8,I noticed that she moved her baby daddy and father in the apartment. They are not on my lease, and not on section 8 contract. I said to her I will not be apart of her games trying to extort money from the state she was not happy so The first month she complained about rats and roaches that I don’t have, I used to live in that apartment myself the house is a 7 year old well maintained house, so I said to myself maybe were she moved from she had roaches and she did not want to speak the truth, so I got a company to exterminate the whole apartment. the next month she complain that she now have bed bugs, I called the company to come in and check for bed bug they found nothing so I decided to give her 30 days notice cause I believe that she is a trouble maker

Very simple solution. People on section 8 houseing are subject to random inspection especially if there has been a complaint lodged against them. You need simply watch to see when the unwanted house guests are regularly there and report this directly to the local housing authority.

And you did the right thing, and she is a trouble maker, and further if you suspect fraud, you should report her to social services, it sounds like all she wants is a free ride on the hard working tax payers dime.

And as far as the bed bugs are concerned, that is not your problem, it's her bed, her bugs, however if there were any, and she left, you inherit the problem.

Watch out for this one, she is not done creating havoc for you, and she may not go peacefully, or without leaving a damage trail behind her...

You can't call the cops unless she does something that you actually need to call the cops for, BUT you can
Definitely report her for what she's doing under section Eight housing laws they are paying for her rent, not the baby's daddy ! ( been thru something very similar and was able to get a really bad tenant legally evicted in 2 weeks in my case ) good luck

This is a common problem with tons of families living on welfare. Women with children file for housing, food stamps, and medical while actually having a husband/ boyfriend the entire time. They know they would not qualify for all the free goodies if they told the truth. This is common practice for illegal immigrant females and they often are renting rooms to relatives that we are paying for thus making cash off our handouts. You are indeed a true patriot for not just looking the other way. This is one major reason there is no money left for those who really deserve and need it. Turn her in to the welfare dept immediately!!!! Get pictures and everything else you can think of to prove he's living with her. Good luck my friend and god bless.
