Do your parents have a rule against smoking? If so, it might be hard, but you have to tell your parents. Tell them in private though, not while your stepsister is around. If she does find out it was you who told your parents, tell her that you told because you're worried about her, and that you were worried because smoking can have a serious impact on her health. Then, your parents can help her quit, and she might realize you were just trying to help her. (I hope my answer helped) :)
Yes you should tell. It may seem like you are snitching on her now. But smoke can cause lung cancer and other serious health problems. If you can stop her from smoking now trust me she will thank you when she's older
simply tell her smoking is a filthy habit. that if she finds a boyfriend he will feel that kissing her would be like kissing an ashtray. that she will shorten her life and endanger any child she may have someday. finally tell her you will tell her parents if she refuses to stop.
Well it's her life and her desicion. And if it was only like a one time thing then let it go. If u think its a habit and she does it a lot and ur concerned for her than talk to her and tell her ur concerned. Or go to a trusted adult if u hav one
If your sister told you she was going to commit suicide, get high, or go drinking and driving and told you not to tell your parents would you tell them? Smoking is dangerous and can really hurt her in the long run. It will consume and ruin her life of she keeps it up. Tell your parents anyways or tell someone you trust to tell them. You don't want to ruin her trust but you also want to keep her safe.
You don't keep secrets when that secret can hurt or kill the person. She will likely get mad at you. Too bad. This is not a joke and as someone who took far too many years of trying over and over again to quit before I was successful, she isn't doing herself anything but harm !!!!! Tell your parents!!!!!
