Are there any students in Ga that received a BS in Early Childhood Ed. from University of Phoenix

I've been hearing about several scams and lies and I don't want to waste my time or money. Im attending University of Phoenix online.

Do your research on this school and then decide rather it's right for you.. I took a few classes with them and stopped, reason being was because the stuff was way to easy. Post an answer to question once a week and you pass. That raised a red flag to me, I felt like I wasn't learning anything. They take pretty much anyone because all they want is your money. Think about it, what university will accept you without SAT/ACT scores. The job market looks down on people with a degree from UOP, they won't admit it but I've talked to many people in upper management about this. If your going with hopes of starting a career, I suggest you go to a traditional school. Of online classes is what you want, many community colleges, university, and state schools now offer online classes, and it's allot cheaper.

One of the good things about going to an on line university is that pretty much anywhere you live on earth you can attend the classes. As long as you have Internet high speed access you are able to receive an education. And as long as you have the ambition. I for one travel all over the place even to Cairo, Egypt and while there I was able to attend University of Phoenix. U of P also offers a guided counselor who is there to help you ever step of the way, they are best to tell you what you can and cannot do. Best of luck!

When I was looking for education programs in NC, I found out that some online colleges aren't acceptable to the Dept. of Instruction. I steered clear of online programs because of this and found a program that is tailored to working adults. Check with GA's Dept. of Instruction about which programs are acceptable, otherwise you'll have a hard time getting licensed.
